Pedigree: La Rouge's dam Amsel(the blackbird), comes from Arsenik, who primarily produced jumping talents and numerous outstanding show mares. This might be through Absatz, whose sire is the Trakehner breeder Abglanz, which in turn goes back to the famous stallion Tempelhüter. In the line of Absatz there are also top-class offsprings, such as Akzent I and II as well as Akzent II son Alabaster, who successfully continues the Absatz blood.

Sire Lanthan came to the Celle State Stud in 1981 as one of the most popular dressage sires. His offspring are elegantly moving horses with a lot of ambition and strong self-confidence. They are all correct and honest and lightly minted in blood, which can be attributed to the legendary stallion and great-grandfather "Der Löwe xx", who already showed his top sire quality through Lugano I (full brother to Lugano II), with Lugano van la Roche and son Darco.
